Jodie Marsh wants a baby via sperm donation after split from husband
The pair split after an eight-month marriage
Jodie Marsh has announced that she is 'revisiting' the idea of sperm donation in order to become a mother after her split from husband James Placido.
The couple were married for eight months before deciding to go their separate ways, in what Jodie has described as 'the worst week of my life'.
Jodie also told fans that she was already considering the option of visiting a sperm bank before she walked down the aisle with personal trainer James last August in Barbados.
Talking to concerned fans on Instagram, Jodie said; 'Of course this has been tough. It's actually been one of the worst weeks of my life! But I'll be darned if I'm going to sit here crying over a man and I'm NOT going to fall apart.'
'I need to carry on as normal and I need to keep busy (and if keeping busy means taking pictures of my care bear onesie then so be it). I haven't come this far in life to be knocked down and made to feel crap! I have ten amazing animals who need me and who are now getting even more love than ever before and I am enjoying catching up with friends. I'm a fighter; you know this.'
The former glamour model added: 'I will always be ok, no matter what life throws at me.'
Although the reason for their split has not been confirmed, Jodie has been dropping cryptic hints on Twitter.

It was earlier this week that Jodie took to her Instagram account to tell her 377k followers the sad news.
'It is with sadness that I bring you the news that James and I have separated. I will be keeping all the dogs with me. I won't be taking calls on the matter as I'd like to be left alone. I thank you in advance for your sensitivity on the subject...'
Jodie took to social media on Monday morning to share the emotional statement
James met Jodie in a car park, and the pair married in Barbados in August 2015. Speaking to Star magazine at the time, Jodie said 'I feel sorry for every other woman in the world because they haven't got him and I have.'
The glamour-model-turned-bodybuilder kept the nuptials a secret but then shared intimate snaps of the big day online, telling fans, 'I have news. I just married the love of my life, my soul mate, my best friend; James Placido, I love you and I'm so proud to be your wife.'
'I promise to love you, support you, encourage you, help you and I promise to make you laugh every day of our lives.
'We love each other so much and we wanted to get married for US, not for anyone else. We didn't want a big fancy do, nor did we want a fuss or any attention. We wanted a simple, intimate, beautiful ceremony.'
The couple later celebrated with friends and family in the UK with a second reception held in October.
