My experiences in Mexico inspired me to begin writing my second book, "I Ching: The Tao of Drumming." Immersing myself in a writing project was my way to get over the post-vacation blues. It took me nearly two years to complete the book; it was the most challenging work I have ever done. Early on, I lost the entire manuscript when my word processor crashed. I didn't have a backup copy, so I had to start over again from scratch. I almost gave up at that point. However, my obsession with the I Ching and its rhythm archetypes spurred me on.
