Princess Eugenie has announced she is expecting her second child with her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The royal announced the news on her own instagram account, sharing a photo taken by Jack, and also revealed when the new arrival is expected.

In a caption, the Princess announced, "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer."

In the photo, Princess Eugenie is smiles down at her first born, August, as he hugs around her waist. The pair are out in the countryside as the sun is beginning to set, looking cosy wearing casual outdoors clothes and hats.

The caption on the sweet photo also reveals that Jack was the one who took the photo of his pregnant wife and youngest son.

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, were married at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, on 12 October 2018. The pair’s first child, a son called August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, was born on 9 February 2021.

The Princess has shared a number of adorable family photographs since her first son was born, but she prefers to keep his face away from the camera.

Over the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Princess Eugenie shared adorable snaps of the trio waving to the red arrows as they flew overhead during celebrations in honour of her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are the grandchildren of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, making them cousins to Prince William and Harry.
