I loved him as Salvador Dali. Scant screen time but so memorable.

Paul AtreidesSeptember 5, 2024 at 8:15 pm #1205937522Joel Edgerton, Marion Cotillard and Mark Rylance had initially been cast in The Brutalist but due to Covid delays, their roles were recast and they were replaced by Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce, respectively.
I can’t help but speculate that as good as the film turned out to be, Marion Cotillard would have been more interesting as Erzsébet Tóth than Felicity Jones.

ReplyCopy URLSeptember 6, 2024 at 5:35 am #1205937740People are going a bit overboard with predictions for this one. It’s still a super artsy 3 and a half hour movie with a C-list cast that will struggle to gross 5 million dollars on US box office.
