Finding and hiring new employees can take up valuable hours that would be better spent running your business. iCIMS wins points for the various features it uses to speed up applicant tracking and management, making it a great pick for time-pressed business owners.

The email templates in iCIMS’ ATS save effort on communication, while interview scheduling tools allow candidates to self-schedule a time slot, minimizing back-and-forth correspondence. Another efficiency booster is the AI feature that helps identify promising candidates in your talent pool.

Finally, you can optimize recruitment overall using iCIMS reporting and analytics. Identify the metrics that matter most to your team and then determine the return on investment (ROI) by automatically compiling and summarizing relevant data. Integrating iCIMS ATS with the iCIMS Talent Cloud’s other functions, such as HR and payroll, can also streamline onboarding. In general, having these processes under one umbrella simplifies operations.

Pricing

iCIMS does not post pricing on its website and instead asks consumers to contact the sales team for a custom price quote. We were also unable to find a free trial advertised. However, you can request a free demo, which we’d certainly recommend taking advantage of.

Customer Service

The iCIMS Community is a good starting point for support and provides resources addressing a variety of frequently asked questions. Once logged into your user account, you can also submit a support ticket. Alternatively, you can chat with a support agent or submit a case over the phone.

Reputation

Reviews for the iCIMS Talent Cloud are mixed. We did see quite a few complaints regarding the lack of user friendliness and the steep learning curve required. On the positive side, users like how comprehensive and data-driven the system is. iCIMS earns at least four out of five stars on both G2 and Capterra but gets less than four stars on Trustpilot.

Pros & Cons
  • Applicant-driven interview scheduling
  • AI-powered automation
  • DEI initiatives, such as removing personal identifiers
  • Complex user interface

Features

Workable is a user-friendly tool with great customer service that will serve you well if you’re not a tech genius. This ATS partners with external data providers, so you can access publicly available information to compile comprehensive candidate lists, which is a great way to speed up sourcing.

We also like the detailed careers pages you can create with Workable. You can customize the page to your brand, for example with your own logo, and make it SEO friendly, so it’s easy for candidates to find. There are even features to make it mobile friendly. The e-signature function is another convenient feature, allowing you to send paperwork, from NDAs to contracts, for fast signing.

Pricing

Workable’s pricing is available online, with the most affordable paid plan costing $189 per user per month. If you want to give it a try, there is a 15-day free trial available. You can also request a live demo, which is a great way to see the system in action.

Customer Service

If you are not tech-savvy, the thought of implementing an ATS can be intimidating. Workable has you covered with its comprehensive customer support. Possible support methods include live chat, phone and email. There is also a well-populated online knowledge hub.

This company is dedicated to offering stellar support that it holds itself accountable to quality using a real-time customer satisfaction rating. This pulls data from the Workable help desk software to see how satisfied consumers are with the support they’re getting. When we checked, satisfaction was at a 96.7% average. Additionally, live chat answer time was 24 seconds, on average, and phone answer time was 35 seconds.

Reputation

Workable’s reviews on Capterra and G2 are strong, averaging more than four out of five stars on both platforms. However, the Trustpilot reviews are less favorable, barely averaging two stars. In general, reviewers praise Workable for its ease of use but aren’t happy with the limited customizations. We also saw reports of integration issues.

Expert Take

Features

Teamtailor’s features cover the essentials of what we’d expect to see in a solid ATS. A successful hire starts with a well-crafted job post, which Teamtailor can help you create. With this tool, you can also post jobs, evaluate candidates using objective scorecards and customize hiring flows with preset automations.

Teamtailor stands out for its robust analytics and reporting functions. Recruitment reports provide insights into relevant information surrounding hiring such as conversions of job ads and the speed of your recruitment pipeline. You can also get audience reports, to see where applicants are coming from, and create custom “snapshot” reports, pulling only data you want.

Teamtailor is experimenting with generative AI, offering new features like AI-written job ads and candidate interview questions. The AI tool can also summarize résumés and video meetings, which can be a good way to refresh your memory about key candidates when you have a lot of interviews to do.

Pricing

Teamtailor doesn’t advertise its prices online and asks consumers to submit a price request. In general, we dislike this approach, which leaves you to blindly enter a company’s sales funnel with zero pricing information up front. However, Teamtailor offers a 14-day free trial.

Customer Service

Teamtailor has email and chat customer support. Notably, the customer support chat is available 24 hours per day from Monday to Friday (some competitors offer live chat only during restricted hours, even during the week). There is also an online knowledge hub that includes how-to videos and other tutorials.

Reputation

Teamtailor has a solid online reputation, with online reviewers giving it more than four out of five stars on both Capterra and G2. As seems to be the norm, the Trustpilot reviews are a bit harsher, averaging less than four of five stars. Reviewers complain about the lack of user-friendly design and poor customer support. As for positive feedback, they praise Teamtailor’s automations, customization and features.

Pros & Cons
  • Accommodate in-house referrals
  • Connect directly to your LinkedIn Recruiter account
  • 24-hour chat support from Monday to Friday
  • No public pricing data
  • Some complaints about lack of user friendliness

Features

Your ATS isn’t going to be the only tech tool you integrate into your small to midsized business. Breezy makes it easy to streamline processes by integrating with plenty of other popular tools, from Slack to Zoom, Outlook and Gmail. There are also integrations to support hiring, for example with background check tools like uCheck and Checkr.

Breezy’s ATS checks all the boxes, from automating candidate pre-screening to scheduling interviews. The HRIS integrations also help simplify onboarding once you’ve found a candidate you want to hire.

The Breezy mobile app is another valuable asset, allowing you to make hiring decisions on the go. We noticed the app was relatively well-rated in the Apple App and Google Play stores, especially compared to some less favorably rated competitors.

Pricing

Breezy’s pricing is publicly available, with the most affordable paid plan starting at $189 per month for unlimited users. You’ll save quite a bit with an annual plan, which starts at $157 (in general, annual plans tend to be cheaper across the providers we surveyed). You can get a 14-day free trial to see if the product is right for you.

Customer Service

Breezy’s online help database covers essentials, from account setup to best practices, when communicating with candidates. For customer support, live chat is available, though the hours are limited. Availability seems to center around U.S, business hours, so users abroad beware; we did see complaints regarding the U.S.-centric support times.

Reputation

Breezy has more than four out of five stars on Capterra and G2, with a slightly lower Trustpilot rating of less than four stars. Users seem to love the customizable templates in particular. We also saw praise for the customer support responsiveness. On the downside, we saw some negative comments regarding slow loading times.

Pros & Cons
  • Diverse variety of integrations, including HRIS
  • User-friendly app
  • Easy-to-implement custom templates

Features

If you’re looking for an ATS and CRM (customer relationship management) tool in one, Recruit CRM has you covered. Its combination of ATS and CRM features makes it ideal for running a staffing or recruitment agency, for instance, because the CRM tool handles things on the client side, such as visualizing sales flow and managing invoices. You can also improve your client communications by scheduling and tracking personalized emails.

This powerhouse tool is especially handy if you have large amounts of data to deal with. The résumé parser can sift through hundreds of résumés, for instance, while the Kanban view lets you visualize data like candidate pipelines in a simplified overview.

One stand-out perk we noticed is the Google Chrome extension for Xing and LinkedIn. You can source candidates more quickly this way, adding their records to your database with just a few clicks.

Pricing

Recruit CRM publishes its pricing publicly, with the lowest paid plan starting at $100 per user per month. That price drops to $85 per user per month if you sign up for an annual plan. We did find an advertisement for a free trial for Recruit CRM but no specifications regarding how long the trial lasts.

Customer Service

Of all the providers we surveyed on this list, Recruit CRM is the only one to offer 24-hour chat support seven days per week. This can bring peace of mind if you need technical help at any time. The provider also promises unlimited training sessions and a dedicated account manager for all paid plans.

Reputation

Recruit CRM has an impressive near-perfect score on Capterra—although it’s worth noting that the total number of reviews is less than 500. The situation is similar on G2. On Trustpilot, the provider earns less than four out of five stars. One downside we saw mentioned more than once was the reporting function, which seems to be not user friendly or simply insufficient.

Pros & Cons
  • Chrome extension for sourcing candidates
  • 24/7 chat support
  • CRM and ATS in one
  • Clunky reporting features
  • While there is an app, the profile is unrated

Features

Hiring for one location is tricky enough. Hiring for multiple locations adds even more complexity to the task. HiringThing makes it easier with centralized hiring across all locations. This can be especially useful if you run a franchise business and need to maintain consistency across locations while still enabling unique hiring. The provider even has franchise-specific packages.

This ATS advertises itself as a “white label software.” That means it embeds with existing solutions for recruiting and onboarding. In short, it’s not a stand-alone tool. On the plus side, that means it’s fast and easy to get set up.

However, HiringThing also relies heavily on integrations, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, since integrations are needed for tasks such as reference checks and job board distributions. However, if you prefer to have functionality consolidated in a single tool, it can be annoying to navigate between different systems.

Pricing

HiringThing is one of the more affordable names on our list, with packages starting at $73 per month for unlimited users. However, keep in mind this isn’t a stand-alone tool and you’ll likely have to pay for other technologies and integrations to get the most out of its functionality. You can try it for 14 days for free to see if it’s right for you.

Customer Service

HiringThing’s premium support includes email, phone, chat and online ticket system support. You can also access the online knowledge base at any time. The knowledge base covers a variety of topics, from security features to integrations and video conferencing.

Reputation

If you’re looking for feedback from real-world business owners who have tried HiringThing, you won’t find much online. Although there is a Trustpilot profile, it had no comments of any kind at the time that we checked it. The number of reviews on G2 and Capterra are similarly scant, with less than 100 reviews on each platform. It’s not necessarily a deal-breaker, but we personally prefer providers with more reviews to refer to.

  • Franchise-specific packages available
  • Fast setup
  • White label software that embeds with other technology (not a stand-alone tool)

Features

Unless a business is very small, hiring decisions tend to involve more than one person. From team leads to HR pros, various people may have a say. If this applies to your organization, Recruitee’s emphasis on collaborative hiring will undoubtedly appeal to you. It specifically accommodates multi-stage interviewing, allowing you to introduce team members from different departments when necessary.

You can also centralize communications through the tool, for instance, by leaving notes for other team members to provide their feedback about a candidate. The referrals feature is another way to tap into the power of teamwork, giving you the chance to find candidates through existing employees.

Pricing

Recruitee is on the pricier side of the providers we surveyed, with the most affordable paid plan starting at $249 per month (however, that includes unlimited users). The 18-day free trial is also slightly more generous than others we found. The majority of providers we surveyed offered a 14- or 15-day trial, with some not advertising a free trial at all.

Customer Service

To get started, the customer success team will create a tailored onboarding strategy for you. A customer success manager will then keep you up to date about the latest best practices. All Recruitee paid plans come with live chat support. To access support, you must log into the Recruitee web app and then click the question mark icon at the top right of the screen.

Reputation

Recruitee has solid reviews on Capterra, G2 and Trustpilot, earning at least four stars on all three platforms. The Trustpilot rating is particularly noteworthy, as few of the providers we surveyed had more than four stars on the platform. While users like Recruitee’s automations, there are also complaints regarding integration limitations.

Features

While 100Hires isn’t the only name on this list to harness the power of AI, it impresses with the breadth and depth of application possibilities. You can use the cutting-edge tech to generate job descriptions, interview questions and application forms. Plus, AI can automatically rank candidate résumés, saving you time on screening.

AI tools are just one way 100Hires tries to save busy entrepreneurs time. You can also reduce manual effort with automations, for example with automated candidate follow-ups and updates. Third-party integration with tools like Zapier make those automations even easier.

Pricing

The cheapest paid plan we found for 100Hires starts at $149 per month for one user. This provider is a prime example of how investing in an annual plan can save you money. For that same plan, if you sign up for one year, the cost is almost halved to $75 per month for one user. A free 15-day trial is also available.

Customer Service

Similar to most of the providers on our list, 100Hires has an online knowledge base with basic how-to information. However, the knowledge base is available via Notion—which can be annoying if you aren’t a fan of the tool—and it’s on the lighter side in terms of content. If you need hands-on help, chat support is available for all paid plans.

Reputation

100Hires is another one of the few names on our list that scored more than four out of five stars on Trustpilot. That being said, the ranking was based on only nine reviews at the time we checked. There is more feedback to be found on G2 and Capterra. On both platforms, 100Hires has more than four out of five stars.

Users praise 100Hires’ easy integration with multiple job boards, which allows employers to cast a wide net when hiring. One complaint we saw come up more than once was the lack of a comprehensive search or filter function.

Pros & Cons
  • Great job board integrations
  • Excellent cost savings for annual plan
  • Comprehensive AI functions
  • Insufficient filter/search functions
  • Minimal knowledge base
  • No mobile app

Features

Greenhouse advertises itself as a fair and equitable hiring platform. Any business owner who wants to address unconscious bias and promote inclusion would do well to check this one out. It starts with a self-assessment that companies can use to identify areas in need of improvement in terms of DEI.

The DEI features are extensive. For example, there are tools that record how you pronounce a candidate’s name, as well as integrations to help you write inclusive job descriptions. Greenhouse also removes biographical details, such as names and educational backgrounds, from skills assessments.

There is additionally a personal pronouns feature that allows you to invite candidates to share their personal pronouns. In addition to providing tech features to promote inclusivity, Greenhouse also has a lot of educational resources on the topic, including webinars.

Pricing

Greenhouse’s pricing is not publicly available, but the provider claims to offer accessible pricing tiers for all sizes of companies. We did not see a free trial advertised, though the website mentions a free demo.

Customer Service

Greenhouse’s customer service is available via live chat. Hours are limited, but this was the norm among the providers we surveyed. There is also a searchable online knowledge hub covering an array of topics, from account setup to recruiting analytics.

Reputation

Greenhouse doesn’t have a Trustpilot page that we could find. However, the ATS does have G2 and Capterra pages, both with solid reviews (more than four of five stars). Users commonly favor Greenhouse’s integrations and interview management features, while they’re not as happy with its limited customizations and lack of clarity.

It’s also worth noting that the Greenhouse mobile app has poor ratings in the Apple App store (less than two stars). The Google Play store has similarly subpar outcomes for the Greenhouse app.

As remote work becomes more normalized, business owners may find the need to hire people from afar. Zoho Recruit takes this into account, as various features cater to this need, from online job ads and digital offer letter acceptance to the video interviewing add-on. Higher-tier plans also have SMS and Phonebridge, a tool to help manage outbound and inbound calls.

Zoho Recruit further places a heavy emphasis on social recruiting, which is becoming increasingly important. In addition to helping business owners build a robust career site, Zoho Recruit lets you list jobs on Google, LinkedIn Easy Apply and Twitter. Plus, you can capture data about where your candidates are coming from.

Pricing

Zoho Recruit’s pricing is reasonable at $30 per user per month for the cheapest paid plan. As usual, you can save some money by paying for an annual plan, which costs $25 per user per month. There is also a 15-day free trial, which is in line with the industry average we found.

In addition to offering various package tiers, Zoho Recruit also has some add-ons you can pay for to customize your tool. For example, the video interview add-on costs $12 per license per month and lets you conduct live or one-way video interviews.

Customer Service

Zoho Recruit’s customer service team is available on live chat. The exact availability depends on the tier of plan. The Classic support plan offers assistance eight hours a day, five days a week. The Premium support plan offers assistance 24 hours a day, five days a week. Finally, the Enterprise plans have 24/7 service.

Reputation

Zoho Recruit performs well across all of the review platforms we surveyed, with more than four out of five stars on Trustpilot, Capterra and G2. Users praise the tool’s user friendliness and ability to automate repetitive tasks. Of course, it’s not all positive feedback. We did find quite a few reviews complaining about the customer service.

Methodology

This list was compiled based on the evaluation of 25 ATS software products. We looked at each provider using a comprehensive rubric of more than 30 factors, from specific features to customer reviews, focusing on the points we deemed most important for small businesses.

Decision Factor Scoring Weight Description
Expert Score
20%
Our experts took a deep dive into each ATS software’s features to determine which ones delivered on the needs of small business owners. We also considered value for money, knowing that small businesses often work with tight budgets, as well as ease of use—there’s no point paying for a system that’s too complicated to implement. Finally, we considered reputation, looking at feedback and reviews across various platforms.
Value
10%
In considering value, we first checked whether pricing was publicly available or not. When available, we compared prices of different provider plans, looking at both monthly and annual costs. We also considered details like how many users and active job posts each plan allowed. Finally, we looked for a free trial, because we know business owners prefer to test out a product before paying for it.
Service and Support
10%
If there’s a technical issue with your ATS, you want to know there’s someone you can call. We checked each provider’s customer service offering to see if chat, phone and email support were available. We also looked for a self-help knowledge base that users can consult to DIY fix their issues.
Candidate Sourcing
16%
Features we looked for to assess candidate sourcing included job board integration, job posting syndication and career sites—all elements that make it faster and easier to advertise jobs. Since social media is increasingly important for recruiting, we also looked for social integrations, such as LinkedIn. Interview scheduling tools were also included in our assessment, since they streamline the recruiting process.
General ATS Features
22%
A lot of research goes into hiring the right person. We looked for features that simplify the process, such as background check tools. We also looked for technologies that can speed up candidate assessments and save business owners time, such as résumé parsing and AI-assisted screening features. Finally, we scoped out reports and analytics capabilities, which can help provide information about what is (and isn’t) working in your recruiting.
Stand-alone ATS vs. HR Software
5%
Some ATS software focuses only on applicant tracking, while other products integrate with more comprehensive HR technologies. We checked which ATS products were part of an HR suite versus which ones were stand-alone. Suitability for recruitment agencies was another consideration.
App Reviews
8%
Being able to access your ATS via an app is a big plus for business owners on the go. When an app was available, we examined app reviews in the Apple App and Google Play stores to see how each ATS stacked up.
Customer Reviews
9%
Real-world users can provide valuable insights into the advantages and disadvantages of an ATS. We looked at customer reviews across Trustpilot, G2 and Capterra.

What Is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)?

An applicant tracking system (ATS) is a type of software businesses use to assist with managing and tracking job applicants. An ATS typically includes features such as applicant tracking, résumé parsing, automated emails, interview scheduling, candidate collaboration tools, analytics and reporting. The primary purpose of an ATS is to streamline the entire recruitment process and make it more efficient for employers.

Additionally, ATS can help companies ensure that their recruitment process complies with legal or industry regulations. By automating the recruitment process, businesses can save time and money while ensuring they are recruiting the best candidates for their company.

A comprehensive HR platform offers an all-in-one solution, so you don’t have to worry about piecing together various ATS options. Many of these platforms have built-in ATS functionality, but some may require an additional purchase. Whether you are looking for a stand-alone ATS or part of a larger HR platform, it is important to research the features and pricing of each product to choose the one that best fits your needs.

How To Choose the Best ATS

To choose the best applicant tracking system (ATS) for your business, consider the key features that matter more to your team and organization. For example, some businesses are looking for very simple tracking features to help manage the hiring process for the occasional new hire. Meanwhile, other businesses need an ATS to save time and money with high-volume recruiting. In addition to key features, also consider the price—and what it might cost as your business grows—available integrations, customer reviews and customer support.

The size of your business will also influence the type of ATS you need. Small businesses may be able to get by with a basic, off-the-shelf system, while larger organizations may need a more advanced ATS for their recruitment purposes. Additionally, consider the type of recruitment process you have in place—whether it’s a more manual process or an advanced, automated system—and whether the ATS can support that.

Essential ATS Features

When selecting an applicant tracking system, you’ll want to look for features that make the process as simple and efficient as possible. Here are some essential features to consider:

  • API: An application programming interface (API) will allow you to easily integrate the ATS with other software, such as job boards and social media.
  • Vacancy management: A good vacancy management system will enable you to quickly post job openings, manage applications and shortlist candidates.
  • Candidate tracking: A comprehensive candidate tracking system will allow you to organize, store and access your applicant data in one place.
  • Searching and filtering: Advanced searching and filtering features will help you find the best candidates quickly.
  • User-friendly interface: The user interface should be easy to use, with a clean, intuitive design.
  • Reporting and analytics: A good ATS will provide in-depth reporting and analytics to help make informed decisions about your recruitment process.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the ATS is compliant with any relevant legal or industry-specific regulations is important for protecting your business.
  • Integrations: It’s important to ensure the ATS can integrate with other software such as job boards, career sites, social media and other recruitment tools.
  • Security: Security should be a top priority when looking for an ATS—it must be secure and protect your data from malicious actors.
  • Mobile access: Many ATS now offer mobile access, allowing you to manage the recruitment process on the go.

These features will help you get the most out of your applicant tracking system and make recruiting easier. As you research different solutions, be sure to read customer reviews and compare features to find the right ATS for your business.

It’s important to read the fine print when comparing ATS costs. While some providers have free plans, they limit things such as user number and functionality. For paid plans, check details such as the number of users, job posts, candidate pools and employees included. For example, Recruitee’s cheapest paid plan is $249 per month for unlimited users and five job slots.

To avoid overpaying for capacity you don’t need, decide beforehand how many users, candidates and positions your plan requires. In general, you can save money on your ATS by paying for an annual plan instead of on a month-by-month basis. For example, Breezy’s cheapest paid plan costs $189 per month and $157 per year.

Business Size Considerations

The size of your business will play a role in deciding which ATS is the best fit. For larger companies with multiple departments and hundreds of employees, an ATS with advanced features and high scalability is essential. Smaller companies may not need the same level of sophistication, so they may be able to get away with a basic ATS that is more affordable. Additionally, the features you need may vary based on your industry or the type of role you are recruiting for.

Generally, ATS will fall into three categories. These include small business ATS, agency ATS and enterprise ATS. Small business ATS are typically designed for companies with fewer than 50 employees and offer basic features such as job posting, applicant tracking and reporting. Agency ATS are designed for staffing firms and recruitment agencies, offering features such as job board integration and applicant tracking. Enterprise ATS are designed for larger companies and typically come with more advanced features such as automated workflows, talent management, analytics and predictive hiring.

An ATS is supposed to streamline hiring and save you time. Look for the features that will help you accomplish that. Automations, AI and templates are all great for enhancing efficiency. Integrations that work with your existing tools, from email to video conferencing, are another plus.

How much does an ATS cost?

The cost of an ATS can vary depending on the features and number of users you need. Low-cost applicant tracking systems can start at around $30 per user per month. However, many cost upwards of $100 per user per month. For larger companies with multiple users, this can add up to hundreds of dollars per month.

How does an ATS work?

An ATS uses algorithms and data that the users of the program input into it to track matches for specific jobs that the company has available. This data eliminates applicants whose résumés don’t have the company’s desired qualifications such as job skills, previous work experience and education level. This allows the company to eliminate unqualified candidates and focus on the ones who have the potential to meet its needs.

How can an ATS improve the selection process?

An ATS can improve the selection process by streamlining and automating many of the tasks involved in recruitment. For example, an ATS can automatically generate an email to applicants when they submit their résumés and make notes on each candidate’s profile so recruiters can easily track their progress.

The system can also help screen applicants by checking for keywords in résumés and cover letters that match the skills required for each job. This eliminates the need to manually sorting through hundreds of applications. Finally, an ATS can also provide valuable analytics that allow recruiters to measure the effectiveness of their recruitment process. This information can be used to make adjustments to improve the efficiency and accuracy of future hiring processes.

What types of companies use an ATS?

Applicant tracking systems are used by companies of all sizes, including small businesses, large corporations and nonprofit organizations. Agencies, recruiters and staffing firms that want to streamline the recruitment process also use it. Furthermore, many government agencies also use ATS to manage their recruitment processes.

Is an ATS worth it for a small business?

An ATS can help save the administrative expenses associated with recruitment. Additionally, an ATS can also help small businesses stay organized during the recruitment process and ensure that they hire the right candidate for each job. By using an ATS to its fullest potential, a small business can save both time and money while improving the quality of candidates they hire.

How does an ATS help HR managers?

An ATS can greatly benefit HR managers by helping them to streamline their recruitment and selection processes. An ATS can be used to track the progress of each candidate, automatically generate emails to applicants and make notes on a candidate’s profile. This can help HR managers quickly identify the best candidates for the position and eliminate any unqualified applicants.

Do applicant tracking systems read PDF files?

Most modern applicant tracking systems can read PDF files. However, it is important to note that the files should be formatted correctly so the ATS can read them properly. It is also recommended that applicants submit their résumés as either a Word document or in plain text to ensure that the ATS can properly read it.

What is an ATS-friendly résumé?

An ATS-friendly résumé is a résumé that has been optimized to be read by an applicant tracking system. This means that the formatting should be simple and the content should include keywords that reflect the job requirements. Additionally, an ATS-friendly résumé should be easily searchable, with clear headers and bulleted lists to help the ATS differentiate the key points.

Are there free applicant tracking systems?

There are some free applicant tracking systems available, though they may be limited in terms of features and functionality. A free ATS can provide basic recruitment and selection processes and can be a great option for small businesses that are just starting out. However, most companies will eventually opt for a paid ATS to take full advantage of more advanced features and capabilities.
