We now have just three-and-a-half days remaining of the January transfer window and for Chelsea, these next 72-or-so hours are set to be extremely busy.

The Blues - very uncharacteristically - have not made a signing this month as we approach Monday evening's deadline. It is two years to the day that Chelsea splashed over £100million on signing Enzo Fernandez from Benfica - so we know Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are not afraid to ruffle feathers in the latter stages of the transfer window.

While the west Londoners are wary about the notorious price inflation that comes hand in hand with the January transfer window, if they feel a player needs to be signed, they are not afraid to showcase their wealth. With all of this being said, football.london's Chelsea panel discuss and predict what we will see from the Blues in the final stages of the window...

There has to be at least one signing, doesn't there? This is Chelsea we are speaking about. On top of this, there is plenty of work going on behind the scenes in terms of incomings and outgoings in the last three-or-so days.

A left winger is the main noise at the moment. football.londonreported a few weeks ago that the Blues are scouring the market for options on the left-hand side with Mykhailo Mudryk suspended following a failed drugs test last month.

Mathys Tel, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens are three of the options Chelsea were looking at - and remain interested in as we approach the conclusion of the transfer window. All the noise from reports in Germany claim Tel does not fancy moving to SW6, so that deal is looking more and more unlikely; particularly with speculation that Tottenham have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich on Thursday.

If that is indeed the case, then we could well see the Garnacho deal open up again. football.london learned last week that Manchester United were bracing themselves for an offer from Chelsea for the 20-year-old winger, who was listed for sale by the Red Devils earlier in the month as Ruben Amorim's side look to comply with the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

Napoli, though, remain keen on the Argentina international, although it seems the Italian club's interest has cooled in recent days. My not-so-bold prediction is that Chelsea will go back in for Garnacho and make United an offer they simply cannot refuse as the west London club become more desperate to get a signing through the door before the window closes.

Elsewhere, Joao Felix is wanted by Aston Villa - and it is a deal that seems to have some legs. Unai Emery is a huge admirer of the 25-year-old attacker and wants to bring him to Villa Park. Felix has made just three starts for the Blues in the Premier League this season, with the Portuguese behind Cole Palmer in the pecking order in the No.10 role.

The likes of Axel Disasi, Cesare Casadei and Carney Chukwuemeka could all leave, too, with plenty of interest in the Chelsea trio. Disasi is wanted by Villa and Wolves, while Casadei looks set to join Lazio. Chukwuemeka could move to Strasbourg on loan should Caleb Wiley switch France for Watford in the remaining days.

In all honesty, I don't see much happening for Chelsea in the last few days. There will be a couple of loan exits, but nothing that trips the Richter scale massively in terms of major outgoings or incomings.

It all seems to have gone a bit quiet on the likes of Mathys Tel and Alejandro Garnacho, with Spurs seemingly in the driving seat for the former and Ruben Amorim making his stance clear on whether he wants the latter to leave Manchester United.

Evan Ferguson looks to be a possibility, but in all honesty - this just seems a bit desperate. Chelsea have needed a back-up or rotation option for Nicolas Jackson all season - that much has been evident. But will Ferguson come in and start scoring more regularly than he has at Brighton? It's nowhere close to a guarantee given his injury history and relative lack of experience. And if he's after more game-time, there are better options available to him.

Having left it this late to bring anyone in, it seems any player is hardly going to be the club or Maresca's first-choice options. Will that necessarily make it a bad transfer? No. But it would be a pretty damning statement on the sporting directors' transfer strategy.

Will Chelsea do any business on transfer deadline day? Outgoing I'm sure they will, but it could be touch and go on the incoming front. Chelsea do, however, like to leave it late in my experience of deadline days.

I think Joao Felix will complete a late move away from the club. Aston Villa will be keen to fill the whole Jhon Duran he's left and will sneak a deal over the line late in the day. I also think Ben Chilwell will finally get his move away from Stamford Bridge, although I can't quite work out where.

As for Chelsea signing anyone, I think Mathys Tel might move elsewhere but the Blues will pull out all the stops to bring in Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United right before the window slams shut.
