Come experience all the Folger has to offer
Welcome!
Our transformed building on Capitol Hill is open after a major multi-year building renovation that allows us to share more of our collection and resources than ever before.
The transformed Folger features two new exhibition halls, a learning lab, welcoming gardens, collaborative research spaces, and expanded visitor amenities such as an expanded gift shop and a soon-to-open cafe.
Along with our new public wing, the Folger’s historic spaces, including the Reading Room, are also reopening.
