(Puls4)

The best Jim Carrey film and one of the best comedies I've ever seen (and one I might possibly have included in the top twenty films ever when I was fifteen), moreover with the unbeatable and dubbing in the Czech version by Bohdan Tůma. The first appearance of Cameron Diaz when she enters the bank always mezmerized me during puberty... and, actually, it still does. 100% just for being exactly the kind of movie you loved when you were younger and never grow tired of. This movie is, of course, a terrible nonsense, but entertaining nonsense... and it belongs to the best of what Jim Carrey has ever done. There is a strong inspiration from Looney Tunes in it, which adds an incredible amount of fun to it. I will just add that in the dubbing, I preferred Tůma over Dejdar... 85% ()
I personally see this as a legendary comedy that introduced me to Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. And while Jim was there for me my entire childhood and provided me with amusement on several occasions, Cameron continues to be a part of my life along with her beauty. Also, this is the only movie I’ve rented every time I didn’t know what else to rent… that is until I bought the VHS myself and I still have it at home today. :-) ()
