Princess Anne was given special "home treats" during lunch at hospital today from her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence. The royal has been recovering from concussion, after sustaining minor head injuries when she was kicked in the head by a horse.
Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that the Princess Royal was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after suffering minor injuries following an "incident" on her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire on Sunday.
And today Anne's husband was spotted visiting his wife in hospital, giving a major update about her recovery and confirming she is doing fine.
Sir Timothy visited Anne for nearly two hours during the lunch period, before leaving at about 2pm and telling the media: "She's doing fine, slow but sure."
He was wearing an open-collar shirt and blazer, and carrying what appeared to be a blue coolbag as much of the nation swelters in the first heatwave of the year.

Asked if he had taken anything for the princess, Sir Tim said: "Just a few little treats from home."
He waved to reporters outside the hospital and put the bag in the back seat of his Range Rover, before getting into the driver's seat and pulling away. The princess is under the care of Southmead Hospital where she has undertaken tests and treatment. She has also been kept in for observation.
Although the cause of the injuries is unconfirmed, Anne's medical team have said her head injuries are consistent with a potential impact from a horse's head or legs.

It is understood the princess was walking within the protected perimeter of Gatcombe Park when the incident happened, and no other individual is believed to have been involved.
Buckingham Palace said in Monday's statement: "The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole royal family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to the princess for a speedy recovery."
