We offer a wide range of containers to meet every requirement, the details of which can be found below.

Overview

Container

An intermodal container, often called shipping container, be designed and constructed for the transportation of general cargo on sea (above or under deck) and on land (road or rail) throughout the world, and will be suitable for the environmental conditions imposed by those modes of transport.

Moving goods in containers has literally transformed shipping and logistics over the past 50 years, bringing all sorts of benefits in terms of economies of scale, standardization of ships, cranes and handling equipment and boosting throughput efficiency at ports and terminals to an extent that would be otherwise unimaginable.

TEU

20-foot equivalent units

20-foot steel dry cargo container is a standard-sized intermodal container which will be constructed to be suitable for transportation in the marine, road and rail modes without any permanent deformation. Also, container capacity is usually communicated in twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU).

40-foot equivalent units

40-foot steel dry cargo container also be designated as standard intermodal container, as same width as 20-foot steel dry cargo container but with the double length. Container capacity is usually communicated in forty-foot equivalent units (FEU, considered to be two TEU).

Mandatory operational marks

The material of the marking will be decal of self-adhesive film "Decal". Decal are used to convey container basic information or give visual warnings. They relate to

– Owner's Emblems,
– Owner's code, serial number and check digit,
– Size & Type Code,
– Weight Details.

Types of Shipping Containers

The dimension shown below are only for reference since each container may have slight difference due to specification revisions. Please refer to the decal of dimensions on the right-hand-container door if need specific information. For the sake of good order, we reserves the right to substitute any containers with the alternative without prior notice. Dry Cargo Container

Dry Cargo Container are standard shipping container, be designed and constructed for the transportation of general cargo. Normally in 20ft and 40ft lengths.

4RS

Refrigerated Container

Refrigerated Container equip with reefer machine to transports refrigerated and frozen goods around the world, such as food stock or pharmaceutical goods.

4FO

Special Container

Special container includes Open Top Container and Flat Rack Container, which be used to transport special dimension cargo, such as machinery, boats or other equipments.

3 Types of Shipping Containers

  1. Dry storage containers
    standard shipping container, be designed and constructed for the transportation of general cargo. Normally in 20ft and 40ft lengths.
  2. Refrigerated containers
    these containers equip with reefer machine to transports refrigerated and frozen goods around the world, such as food stock or pharmaceutical goods.
  3. Special containers
    these containers include Open Top Containers which are designed as no roof panel but it will be able to equip with tarpaulin on the top of container if needed, enabling goods of any height to be shipped, such as logs or machinery;And Flat Rack Containers which contain collapsible sides which fold, ideal for shipping boats, equipments and cars.
Container Seal

Evergreen Line as a CTPAT validated carrier had adopted high security seal standard to meet with the criteria of ISO 17712:2013, as an integral part of supply and transportation chain security.

Supply Chain Security must start with the shipper at the point of stuffing, including the application of ISO 17712:2013 standard for high security seal immediately upon completion of the stuffing operation and seal number documented.

Secura Cam Seal Position

The seal should be affixed on the SECURA CAM position (at bottom of left locking bar of the right container door).

Containers manufactured after 2004 all have the Secura Cam & keeper implemented.
