Welcome to the Download Centre of the European Parliament. This online platform features Parliament’s logo for communication partners.
Visual identity
The European Parliament logo is a primary brand asset in establishing the visual recognition of the European Parliament. It applies to both internal and external communication.
It is based on a stylised hemicycle, the European Union flag and the name of the institution. It is a symbol of the core values that the European Parliament stands for: openness and democracy.
The European Parliament logo wordmark is written in Europea, the European Parliament's custom-made typeface.
This website allows you to download all 24 language versions of the logo in various formats to be used on a wide range of supports. It provides technical guidelines on the usage of the logo.
Standard landscape European Parliament logo
Wherever possible, the standard landscape logo should be applied to increase the recognition of the European Parliament. The standard landscape logo should be prioritised, especially in situations where the standard portrait logo will reduce the legibility of the wordmark to an unacceptable degree.

Standard portrait logo
The standard portrait logo is used in situations where the landscape logo cannot be displayed properly, for example in extreme formats (e.g. too small or elongated). Wherever possible, the standard landscape logo should be applied to increase the recognition of the EP logo.

Multilingual logos
The European Parliament logo has also been developed in multilingual versions (landscape and portrait), where all the official languages of the European Union are placed next to the symbol. This version should be used whenever necessary for symbolic reasons requiring the display of all 24 official EU languages, such as on certain buildings. This version of the logo should be applied on sufficiently large formats.

Mute
For very special situations where the rules might not allow the use of the complete logo, an alternative mute logo has been developed. The mute logo comprises only the hemicycle and the EU flag.This mute logo can be used for situations where there is not enough space to use the complete logo. The name of the institution must in this case already be present and visible elsewhere, e.g. social media page name or avatar.
