No organized accommodation
If you do not have organized accommodation, you will receive information about it in the nearest reception center upon arrival at the border crossing. Stay in the reception centers is short and limited to 48 hours. After this period, you will be referred to permanent accommodation that will be offered to you. At the moment, three reception centers are open in Croatia:

Organized accommodation
If you have organized the accommodation in Croatia by yourself, after settling, contact the nearest Red Cross office where you will get all the necessary information. You must report your stay to your nearest police station or directorate.

On March 7th, 2022, the Government of the Republic of Croatia has adopted a Decision on the introduction of temporary protection for displaced persons from Ukraine by which temporary protection was granted for the citizens of Ukraine under the Croatian International and Temporary Protection Act (Official Gazette, No. 70/15 and 127/17) and Council Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/382 of March 4th, 2022. According to the abovementioned legislation, displaced persons from Ukraine can work in Croatiawithout issuing residence and work permits.
