While O’Connor was fortunate that the injury did not derail her lifelong dreams, it appears her luck extends beyond her profession. Although Kate O’Connor has not confirmed her relationship, it is rumored that she is currently dating Georgie Kelly. Kelly is a professional soccer player who is currently signed for the League Two club in the EFL, Carlisle United. Although Kate O’Connor has not officially confirmed her romantic interest in Kelly, the duo has been spotted together on quite a few occasions.

George Kelly and Kate O’Connor have been posting regularly on Instagram. Their updates reveal that the duo crossed paths during their college days at Sheffield Hallam University. Soccer career of Georgie Kelly

According to reports from Soccerbase.com, Georgie Kelly played for UCD in 2016. In a showdown against Athlone Town in 2017, Kelly scored a remarkable hat-trick that catapulted his name to the top, cementing his status as the season’s top scorer. After spending a couple of seasons with UCD, Kelly’s next stop was Dundalk.

Donning the jersey of Dundalk, Kelly had a memorable moment featuring in a UEFA Europa League qualifier. Kelly’s career started to sparkle as he won the first division for UCD and the Premiere Division for Dundalk in the same year. 

Kelly then ventured into several different clubs, including St. Patrick’s Athletic, Bohemians, and Rotherham United. It was with Bohemians that Kelly achieved his first Premier Division hat trick, contributing to a 5-1 victory against his former club Dundalk. Currently, Kelly is signed to Carlisle United on a three-and-a-half-year contract. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old is still struggling to find his footing.
