Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 4 days agoAllen notched 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and four assists across 15 minutes in Thursday's 129-117 preseason loss to the Pacers.
Spin: Allen was the only regular starter who saw the court for Cleveland in this preseason contest, as the coaching staff decided to rest Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley while Max Strus (hip) was ruled out. Allen is firmly entrenched as the Cavaliers' starting center and will remain a double-double threat whenever he steps on the floor.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Allen is coming off his best offensive season, with career-high averages of 16.5 PPG and 2.7 APG to go along with his typical double-digit boards and a block-plus per game. Allen is one of the most efficient scorers in the league with five straight seasons shooting over 61-percent from the field, and he operates well offf his teammates as a finisher on offense and the defensive anchor on defense. At 26 years old, Allen is just approaching his athletic peak so the best could be ahead.
