Ronald was a successful businessman, opening numerous businesses in the Birmingham, AL area. He was honored in the national Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Twentieth Edition.
Ronald served in the Army National Guard for seven years. He was an avid golfer and a life-long fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football.
Surviving Ronald are his wife, Linda Hamilton Howard; son, Michael Allen Howard (Tammy); one grandson, Hunter Allen Howard (Claudia); one great-granddaughter, Kennidee Rose; sister, Elaine Phillips (Larry); brother, Rex Allen Howard (Melissa); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, followed by A Celebration of Ronald's Life and Legacy at 2 p.m. in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. St. Vincent's Hospice chaplain Evelyn Chambers will officiate.
After the committal service at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, on Thursday, all family and friends will be welcomed at a special reception at the funeral home.
