You can get half price mains and large discounts off items while enjoying a meal out
Martin Lewis, founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, has shared details of some deals for meals out this month. In his most recent newsletter, Mr Lewis spotlights a range of special offers at popular chains including of Pizza Express and Zizzi.
The bargain expert said: "Restaurants are quieter in January, so chains including Toby Carvery, BrewDog, Harvester, Franco Manca and more have restaurant discounts to entice you." He also provided a link to 'Top January restaurant offers' on the Money Saving Expert site for those hungry for a bargain.
Pizza aficionados can snag a 2 for 1 deal at Pizza Express—buy one full-price 'Classic' or 'Leggera' pizza and get another for just £1. The lower-priced pizza will get the £1, offer. Prices range from £11 to £16, offering patrons the chance to pocket as much as £15. This includes the vegan Giardiniera pizza. This deal lasts until January 30.
BrewDog is pitching in with its own buy one, get one for £1 promotion on pizza and burgers. You will need to book online, as this doesn't apply for walk-ins, takeaway, or delivery orders. Normal prices for pizzas range from £12 to £15 while burgers are £13 to £16, with vegan options included. You've got until February 16 to claim this tasty treat.
Franco Manca also has a discount for diners, with pizzas from its main menu or specials board for just £5, a significant drop from the usual £7 to £13.50 range. To grab this deal, customers need to download the app and fill out a form on the chain's website. This offer lasts until January 31.
Several popular venues are offering half price meals, although some of these deals are set to expire soon. Toby Carvery is dishing out a 50 percent discount on main meals for app orders, dine-in or click and collect, with the offer running until January 10.
Similarly, Harvester is serving up a 50 percent reduction on main meals for app orders, dine-in or click and collect, also available until January 10. Zizzi is offering half-price mains when dining in restaurant, with this deal available until January 31.
For fans of Mexican cuisine, Las Iguanas is offering a £10 discount off your bill when you spend at least £20, for dine-in only, with this offer valid until January 31. If you're after a sweet treat, Bill's is offering bottomless pancakes for £5 on Fridays, until February 7.
The Real Greek is also offering a £5 souvlaki wrap, saving you £4 off the usual £9 price. This deal is for those dining in and is available until January 31.
