She has been awarded early praise for her portrayal of Megyn Kelly in the upcoming true-life inspired drama flick, Bombshell.
And Charlize Theron took a break from her hectic schedule as she enjoyed some sushi in West Hollywood on Friday night.
The Oscar winning actress, 44, cut a casual figure in an all-black ensemble while enjoying her night out on the town.

Her casual sighting comes after film critics predicted Charlize could take home her first Oscar in 16 years for her 'uncanny' and 'remarkable' portrayal of Megyn Kelly in Bombshell.
The star stars alongside Nicole Kidman, who plays Gretchen Carlson, and Margot Robbie as a fictional channel producer character, Kayla Pospisil, in the film that's out on December 20.
She plays Megyn Kelly in the film about the sexual misconduct allegations brought against Fox News CEO Roger Ailes.

Theron – who won Best Actress for Monster in 2004 and was nominated in 2006 for North Country – is expected to enter the race once again.
Charlize, Nicole and Margot recently discussed the movie while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
When asked if Kelly had reached out to her in regards to the role, Charlize said no, but clarified: 'So we used a lot of source material in telling this story. And also spoke to a lot of women who were part of this story.
'Some of them were still working at Fox, some of them really didn't want their names out there. So as a team we've just decided to protect our sources.'

She added of her portrayal: 'Megyn is aware of the film and I'm really hoping she will see it.'
Theron also revealed to Entertainment Tonight what Kidman's reaction was to her transformation: 'She walked by me at one point and I thought she was mad at me. I thought, "Oh god! What did I do? Did I mess something up in her trailer? Did I not say hi nicely?"
'She just came up to me and she was like "Charlize?" and then I said, "Yes are you mad at me?" She said, "No I just didn't know that was you!"'
