Liverpool have been dealt another blow as goalkeeper coach John Achterberg is set to leave the club at the end of the season, according to reports.
The Reds are set for major restructuring within their coaching department after Jurgen Klopp announced in January that he would be stepping down from his role following nine-years at Anfield.
Klopp's assistants Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz and Vitor Matos will follow him out the door and goalkeeper chief, Achterberg, will also be exiting, as reported by The Athletic.
Achterberg joined Liverpool's academy set-up in 2009 before later being promoted to the club's first-team under former coach and club icon Kenny Dalglish.
He has been a key figure during Klopp's trophy-laden reign and has helped get the best out of the likes of Alisson, while also playing an influential role in bringing Caoimhin Kelleher into the first-team.

Alisson previously hailed Achterberg's active role in his rise to becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world, with the Brazilian winning the Champions League and Premier League during his time at Anfield.
'John has proved to be not just a great goalkeeping coach but a great guy,' he said.
'We learn from each other's work. He's loved by all here,' added Alisson.
