Today’s featured computer setup sports something we don’t see often — multiple stations for different uses. And its colossal 65-inch smart TV, used as a computer display as well as a home theater screen, is pretty unusual, too.

Check it out and peruse the gear list below.

Dual-station home office with rolling iPad table uses a 65-inch smart TV as a display and home-theater screen

Redditor Fatticusss showcased the split setup in a post entitled, “Dual stations in my home office.”

“I have a couch with recliners in the back of the room for a cinema vibe and my office chair for gaming sessions,” Fatt said, indicating the office really has three separate areas.

His photograph doesn’t show the couch and chairs in the back of the room, but with the 65-inch Vizio V-Series 4K UHD LED Smart TV on the desk showing the flick, the comfy seating could be pretty far back and it wouldn’t matter.

However, switching to normal desktop-computing mode and sitting up close to the screen might blow out the ol’ eyeballs.

The 65-inch smart TV offers more than 8 million colors on its vast screen. Its Dolby Vision Bright Mode tunes color pixels to increase depth and detail. It supports HDR10 and HLG formats.

Second station is a rolling iPad setup

Not wanting to do all computing on a monster screen may be why Fatt keeps the second station handy. It’s an iPad on a stand with a full-sized Magic Keyboard and a Magic Trackpad in a tray.

They sit on a small, steel-framed table with wheels — a Seville Classics Airlift Rolling Laptop Cart. It adjusts from 20.5 inches high to 33 inches high. It’s designed to fit any size laptop or tablet with a keyboard.

Killer speakers

Another cool aspect of the setup got a shout-out from a commenter.

“Those look like some gen1 KRK RPs, great speakers!” they said.

“Bingo!” Fatt replied. “I’ve had them for like 10 years and they shake the walls! Hope they last forever!”

As a relatively close and fairly affordable substitute, we included the KRK Classic Studio Monitor speakers in the gear list below.

Their high/low-frequency controls contour your sound for environment, preference and music style. A custom bi-amped, class A/B amp offers large headroom and low distortion, the company said. Soft-dome tweeters provide articulate highs up to 35kHz and lightweight, glass-aramid composite woofers deliver clear midrange and tight bass.
