Don’t upgrade to iOS 13 if you love playing Fortnite or PUBG on your iPhone or iPad.
Gamers quickly discovered that iOS 13’s new three-finger gesture interrupts gameplay. While players try to aim and move with a 4 finger claw-like input method it brings up a new text editing bar that prevents you from doing anything so you’re just a sitting duck for opponents.
@PUBG_Support @PUBGMOBILE iOS 13 text editing gestures killed 4 finger claw. Touching with 3 fingers will open the above bar in game(screenshot). Please release a fix for this. Total game killer at the beginning of season. #iOS13 #PUBGMOBILE pic.twitter.com/e8fRXyx12I

Fortnite and PUBG aren’t the only games affected by the bug but they’re two of the most popular. PUBG’s developers put out a warning on its iOS app for users to not update to iOS 13. It appears that the issue has been fixed in iOS 13.1. You can hop on the latest pubic beta to get rid of the issue.
We are aware of an issue for players who upgraded to iOS 13.0, where touching the screen with 3 fingers will trigger an iOS function and interrupt the game.
We have already raised the issue with Apple, and we will continue working with them to resolve the issue. We suggest players who play the game with 3 or more fingers do not upgrade to iOS 13.0 until this issue is resolved.
Thank you for your understanding.

Not all players use the claw input method so your gameplay might not even be affected. iOS 13.1 is set to release on September 24.
