The Bachelor of Science in Marketing provides a foundation for advanced and independent study by establishing a common platform of essential knowledge and skills. Whether you have entry qualifications or professional work experience, earning a Bachelor's degree in Marketing can help accelerate your career. If you do not have the standard entry requirements for the bachelor’s degree in Marketing, the University of London welcomes applications via the Performance-Based Admissions route.
To qualify for Performance-Based Admissions you need a minimum of four GCSEs or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant work experience. If you gain Performance-Based entry to the degree, you’ll also need to achieve a pass (40% weighted average or higher) in one required module to remain on the course. You do not need to complete this module before you enrol, it will simply form part of your first term studying the degree.
Unsure which entry route is best for you? Simply apply via direct entry. If you don’t meet direct-entry criteria, your application will automatically be considered for Performance-Based Admission.
When you complete these programs, you may have learning recognized for credit toward this degree, if you are admitted and enroll.¹

No, we accept qualifications from around the world. We advise all applicants to read our Qualifications for Entrance and English Language requirements before applying.
You need to demonstrate a good level of English to be admitted to our programmes. We accept a range of evidence, including proficiency test scores. If you don’t have evidence but believe you can meet the standard, we may consider your case. More information on the English language requirements can be found on the University of London website.
If you do not meet admissions requirements for direct entry, you may be eligible for the Performance Based Entry route instead. If you apply, our admissions office will be able to assess your eligibility for either route and advise you further. If you are not eligible, the University of London admissions team will provide you with guidance of what you can do to become eligible.
If you are admitted to the programme through the Performance Based Entry route, you must pass one required module before progressing to the full BSc.

You do not need a marketing background or relevant work experience to qualify for access to the degree. Please see the entrance requirements for further information about the entry routes available.
UK Entry Requirements: 3 UK GCSE / GCE O level passes at grade A – C / 9 – 4 in non-overlapping subjects plus 2 further UK GCE A level passes at grade A - E in non-overlapping subjects or 3 UK GCE Advanced level passes in non-overlapping subjects where grade EED or above is achieved. Satisfy the English Language requirements. For example, (IELTS) International English Language Testing System: 6 overall, with 5.5 in each sub-test (Academic or General or IELTS Indicator Online Test).
For the US educational system, please see below. To note: a US High School diploma alone will not meet our entry qualifications. Associate degree from a Regionally Accredited Institution or 30 credits from a Regionally Accredited Institution. Additionally applicants must hold a US High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalent. or Advanced Placement (AP) of the American College Board: International Diploma. or Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations of the American College Board, provided at least two full, non-overlapping, subjects are passed at grades 3, 4 or 5 (with the exception of Studio Art). Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, which individually must be passed at grade 3,4 or 5, are valued as half a full subject each.
The total cost of the programme for 2024/25 is between £14,088 to £18,868*, depending upon geographic location. You won’t be billed upfront for the whole degree. Instead, pay as you go - each time you take a module, you’ll pay the tuition just for that module.
*Indicative totals assume students complete the qualification within the minimum time without resits and Recognition of Prior Learning (requiring additional fees). Programme Fees are subject to annual revision and typically may be increased by up to 5% per annum. For further details please refer to the University of London website.

Where the University is required to add VAT, GST or any other sales tax at the local statutory rate, this will be added to the fees shown during the payment process.
