For the Royal Family (and their fans!) Christmas is pretty major. For starters, there's an extensive list of yearly rituals for the family which includes decorating the tree together - as well as Christmas card photos that give the public an exclusive glimpse into royal life.
This year was no exception, with plenty of exciting moments across the festive period. This included an adorable, intimate picture of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis hugging (I'm not crying, you're crying!) which was released on Christmas Day 2023.
There was also the fact that King Charles deviated from royal tradition for his second Christmas message, choosing to pose next to a living tree featuring sustainable decorations as a nod to his life-long passion for environmentalism.
And then there was the beloved walk to church, an opportunity for fans of the Royals to catch sight of the family as they make their way to a Christmas Day service at Sandringham. This year, all seemed pretty normal - except for the appearance of a mystery little girl holding hands with Prince Louis and laughing with Princess Charlotte. Who is she?
Well, we're here to tell you that this mystery is a pretty easy one to crack. That's because the little girl in question is actually pretty well known among Royal buffs: she's Mia Tindall, the 9-year-old daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall and 22nd in line to the throne.
Born on 17 January 2014, she's the eldest child in the Tindall family and was then followed by siblings Lena (born June 2018) and Lucas (born March 2021).
Beginning from 2022, Mia started making more royal appearances and was present at celebrations for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Here's hoping we see more of this young royal soon!
