2014 Native American $1 Coin and Enhanced Uncirculated Currency Set

we ordered the set on Dec 4th , is there anyone purchase the coin on that day get the coin? The system showed it would be shipped on Dec 8th but ours are still in backorder status .

I ordered 30 on the 4th, and 5 on the 10th (different address). Already received the 5, the 3 are being delivered tomorrow in 2 packages, one of 27, one of 3.

 

Yes, the mint keep changing back and forth.

Latest check still says 'back ordered', placed on 12/4.

 

So what's so special about the enh unc dollar? Is it similar to the 2000-D burnished PL Sacagawea dollar?

 

I think the 'special' is being derived from several factors adding up together.

-unique finish (first year of enhanced uncirculated)
-50,000 mintage
-projected key date
-mint misinformed collecting populace of the coins specifications and that created a 'buzz' type atmosphere around it
-relatively cheap to obtain
-doubling money upon resale
-relatively attractive modern coin

Things like that.

 

Just happy for the chance to 'snag' a few. All will continue to reside within my collection. One to 'bust out' and two to hold.

 

Me too, assuming they arrive. I honestly feel I was counted in last weeks tally before they sold the rest to hit 50K.

I order mine on the 4th of December and it is still on backorder. I called the Mint today and they said I am in line to get mine 11 sets once they are in and don't know when.

 

My order placed on the 4th finally shipped two days ago. Prices are creeping up on eBay. TC

 

I ordered mine on the 4th and they were shipped yesterday.

 

Average price at ebay gain some 200% from mint price. At one point gain 300%.

First day offer from the mint. I ordered two pieces. Delivered. Then on December 4. Ten pieces. This order until now is not ship. Is that due to more than five. But then that day is unlimited. Hopefully I will get them. What you think Krispy?.

 

I don't think you get them if your billing address is same as shipping on all orders. The five household limit is set up to prevent individuals from taking more than their fair share but the system isn't impossible for individuals to get around either if they have payment systems set up with different addresses

Mine finally say 'On Hold'.

 

That is my thoughts on how it works. Even I didn't order more than 5 sets, mine are still on back order as well. Time will tell.

 

I used the same credit card on all my orders, and have received one, and the other is being delivered today. So it is still possible you will get them!
