Antoinette Radford is the breaking news writer for CNN Digital’s Live News Team in London, covering the latest headlines in real-time. She is responsible for providing updates and meaningful analysis on a range of stories for CNN’s Digital audience, including the war in Ukraine, Israel-Hamas war, and US politics.

Radford joins CNN from BBC News, where she covered both international and domestic breaking news, including reporting on the Ukraine war, wildfires in Hawaii, elections across Europe and riots in France.

She is originally from Sydney, and previously worked for public broadcasting in Australia — both at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where she produced news for TV, radio and digital and covered courts in the Australian Capital Territory – and at the Special Broadcasting Service.

While at the ABC, Radford covered one of Australia’s highest profile court cases, of the alleged rape of a staffer inside Parliament House.

Radford is passionate about covering her home country, environmental issues and conservation, and geopolitics – with a particular interest in the European and Pacific regions.

She is a graduate of the University of Sydney, and she speaks French and Spanish.
