The most beautiful concept of the year enters production

Oh. My. Goodness.

What was a concept just months ago has now been approved for production, after overwhelming customer demand.

The Vanquish Zagato is based on Aston Martin's standard Vanquish, as you might have guessed.

Here, its 6.0-liter V-12 has been massaged to put out almost 600 horsepower.

That's enough forward thrust to bring 60 mph about in just 3.5 seconds.

But if all you care about is power, you're missing the best part of the car -- its design.

The rear end's silhouette is evocative of the DB11.

The whole body is made of carbon fiber, and uses large body panels to reduce the number of visible seams.

The rear end uses circular taillights, a Zagato design staple.

Only 99 of these cars are being built, and if you want one now, you're probably already out of luck.
