If there’s one thing Jennifer Lopez is better at than singing and acting, it’s being the doting mom of her twins, Emme and Max. The Hustlers star first became the proud mama of her adorable children when she and ex-husband Marc Anthony welcomed them on February 22, 2008.

Although Jen and the “Vivir Mi Vida” singer divorced in 2014 after marrying in 2004, the former couple have mastered coparenting. Over the years, Jennifer and Marc have introduced their children to their significant others and have even been spotted hanging out. In 2022, Jen married Ben Affleck. Her kids have grown close to his kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

There’s no doubt Jennifer shares a sweet bond with her adorable son. Max was very close to Jennifer’s ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. Jennifer shared a photo of Alex and Max wearing matching pajamas in 2019. Once Max realized that his mom had a huge social media following, he encouraged her to use her platform for bigger causes.

“He wanted me to make sure I realized that I had power and that I should use it, and I thought that was very insightful. It was one of those parenting moments when you’re like, ‘Oh, maybe I’m raising a conscientious, kind, loving kid here,’” the two-time Grammy nominee told Elle in January 2021.

Max is a spitting image of his father. In a 2015 interview with Extra, Jennifer said that Max was “like a mini Marc.” Jennifer went on to add that her son has “lots of energy” and is “super funny.” Like his sibling, Max has a love for singing, playing the piano, doing gymnastics and Taekwondo.

Emme is so lucky to have Jen as their mama. Talent runs in their veins, as the youngster is an incredible singer. They took the stage during Jen and Shakira’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2020 to perform “Let’s Get Loud” and “Born in the USA.” Despite Emme’s incredible voice, they are not sure if singing is what they want to pursue when they grow up.

“When I get older I don’t want to be a singer. It’s not something that I would like to do as a profession,” they told Access Hollywood in September 2020. “But maybe one of my hobbies could be singing.”

Months later, Emme joined JLo on the stage once again to perform at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala.

“[The last time] we performed together was in a big stadium like this, and I ask them to sing with me all the time but they won’t,” the proud mom said on stage. “So, this is a very special occasion, because they’re very, very busy and booked and pricey. They cost me when they come out, but they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time.”

In February 2024, Emme brought a date to JLo’s This Is Me… Now premiere. The pair held hands as they walked the red carpet together.
