SOLON, Ohio -- Solon High School is rolling out the welcome mat for students currently attending private or parochial schools.
Solon and Glenwillow students currently enrolled in eighth grade at a private or parochial school are invited to visit Solon High School, along with their parents, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The high school is located at 33600 Inwood Road.
Parents will meet with Solon High School administrators and guidance counselors for a overview of the school's academic and extracurricular offerings. Prospective students will spend two academic periods shadowing current Solon freshmen. Building tours will be offered.
Registration is required for Visit Day, so prospective students can be paired with current students who share academic and extra-curricular interests.
This is the only shadowing opportunity Solon High School offers during the year. If students are unable to attend, prospective parents are still encouraged to attend the introduction to Solon High School at 8 a.m.
To register, please contact Ann Trocchio, SHS guidance counselor, at 440-349-7407.
