It Takes a Trailer
M. Night's plugola for his next flick starts April 26 when he'll be on ABC hosting a showing of his only widely accepted film, The Sixth Sense. I wonder if it'll be on a delay?
You should care, because during the heavily commercial interrupted broadcast, Night will debut the latest trailer for The Village. A week later on May 3 Shyamalan's unholy ABC alliance hits overdrive and he hosts the network television debut of his greatest and most underapreciate movie, Unbreakable. Tacked on to it will be some sort of 15 minute documentary on the making of The Village... a film whose trailers bear an odd resemblance to his last film, Signs, sans the Jesus obsessed Gibson.
The Village is a typically disturbing Shyamalan tale. The story of a creepy little village in an undetermined place, surrounded by a forest that holds a group of unspecified creatures which may or may not wish to do them non-specific and potentially damaging harm. Possibly... with a twist.
