Sept. 30, 2024 -- Heights Career Tech invites the community to the “Fall In Love With CTE” Fair on Saturday, October 19 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Heights High. The event is free and will showcase the opportunities and benefits of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Sept. 24, 2024 -- The theme across the CH-UH School District this year is Heights United. In that spirit, each month CH-UH is recognizing employees who go above and beyond to inspire unity and create a culture of excellence in our district.

Sep. 24, 2024 -- 69 Heights High School students from the Classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026 have been recognized by the College Board for their outstanding performance in AP courses from the 2022 - 2023 school year. Congratulations to these 69 students and all Heights High students for stepping up to the challenge of enrolling in AP courses!

Sept. 11, 2024 -- September is Attendance Awareness Month, and to celebrate, the Cleveland Browns have given the District two signed game day footballs: one signed by Myles Garrett and the other by David Njoku. Students can enter to win a football by having perfect attendance and/or signing an Attendance Pledge card.

Sep. 6, 2024 -- While some students spend their summer vacations lifeguarding at the pool, mowing lawns or bussing tables in local restaurants, Heights High senior Olivia Bruening spent hers analyzing how “fascicles merged and diverged within the nerve.” Olivia was one of two teens from the Cleveland area to intern at the Human Fusions Institute of Case Western Reserve University, where she worked under Dr. Dustin Tyler in the Research Immersion in Brain, Spinal Cord, and Peripheral Nerves program.

Sept. 4, 2024 -- Heights Libraries is hosting an entertaining evening with comic artist and author Jeff Smith, creator of the wildly popular comic series Bone, on October 19, 7 p.m. at Heights High School.
