Intro to the Portuguese (from Scandinavian Defense)

Welcome to this Intro to the Scandinavian Portuguese Variation, a sharp option coming out of the Modern Scandinavian coming from the moves 1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Nf6 3. d4 Bg4!

3...Bg4! ignores being a pawn down as well as the threat of Bb4+ and hits the queen with tempo. In this intro we venture into the mainline which goes into something called the Portuguese Gambit and it gets a bit crazy. Still not sure if I want to see this line on the board, but it would be fun.
