I am a resident of Bien Unido, Bohol, Philippines. In our community, many families living in the islands and far away places struggle to send their children to school. The cost of living and  education is a significant barrier that prevents these children from realizing their full potential.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (2018), about 9% of Filipino children are out-of-school youth. This number is even higher in remote areas like ours where access to education is limited by geography and financial constraints.

We believe that every child deserves access to quality education regardless of their socio-economic status or geographical location. We urge the Department of Education and local government units in Bohol to take immediate action towards providing free quality education for all students.
