We the undersigned who constitute the citizens of Uganda do hereby Petition H.E the President of Uganda not to assent to the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2016. If this Bill is passed in its current form, Uganda stands to lose UGX49.464Bn annually as revenue from MPs which can be used to meet the varying social needs. We strongly believe that to develop this nation, every Uganda should pay their fair share of taxes.
