Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is planing to cancel the route of Express Bus 181 route to/from Fremont BART to Downtown San Jose and Diridon Transit center due to the BART extension to North-east San Jose in fall 2017. They are completely discontinuing busses 120, 140, 180, and 181. These are all buses that go to various routes from and to Fremont. This will affect many students and staff of SJSU. As students we would need to pay more for Bart plus for the bus that takes us to Bart. And that is only one sided trip we are talking about. This is only part of the issue. If we students who take these buses start driving to San Jose that will making parking a bigger issue. As students and even staff members we already pay for so many things. And adding onto paying for Bart and busses will only make our situation worse. Please sign this petition so vta doesn't discontinue routes from Fremont.
