I, along with many others, have been robbed of the joy of having goofy Bitmoji interactions with our friends on Snapchat. The recent update has replaced our beloved classic cartoon-style Bitmojis with lifeless 3D versions and we are left without an option to revert back to the classic style. This change has stripped away a significant part of the fun and personal expression that was once a cornerstone of our Snapchat experience.

Bitmoji, owned by Snap Inc., was integrated into Snapchat in 2016 and quickly became an integral part of the platform's appeal (source: TechCrunch). The cartoon-style avatars allowed users to communicate in a playful way that words alone could not capture. However, recent updates have taken away this unique feature in favor of more realistic but less expressive 3D models.

We understand that technology evolves and changes are inevitable. But it is also important for companies like Snap Inc. to listen to their user base and provide options that cater to their preferences.

We urge Snap Inc., therefore, to bring back the option for classic cartoon-style Bitmojis on Snapchat or at least give us an option between choosing either styles according to our preference.
