True, but society makes women feel if they aren’t married, they are not an entire person. Not all people all the time, but the attitude is there, so woman feel any man is better than no man.

Exactly! Once we were married, he felt he no longer had to woo me, or even pay attention to me. I was locked down, as you so accurately put it. He was genuinely surprised when I told him we were getting a divorce.

As I’ve seen, they seem to be 1-issue voters. They focus in one a single thing they hear that they want to see happen, but ignore everything else. “Yay, gas will be much cheaper!” Same person in January 2025 - “I’m losing my ACA? We depend on that!!”

There was no violence. They say it speaks more to a person’s character to see how the person deals with losing rather than how they act when they win. We’ve seen both sides now. It’s not good.
