Shelly Brisbin is a writer, editor and podcaster. She recently published the eighth edition of her book, iOS Access for All: Your Comprehensive Guide to Accessibility for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. By day, she is Web Editor and a producer for Texas Standard, a daily public radio news show. In 2019, Shelly produced the award-winning audio documentary, 36 Seconds that Changed Everything: How the iPhone Learned to Talk. She has contributed to many online publications, including AccessWorld and MacStories. She hosts podcasts, including Parallel, Lions, Towers & Shields, and Maccessibility Roundtable. She is a frequent guest on other tech and culture shows as well. Shelly’s career in tech journalism spans 30 years, 20 books, hundreds of articles for leading tech mags and sites, and several stints on the editorial staffs of publications and Web sites including MacUser Magazine, Powered, Inc. and Hoover’s. Her ex-podcasts include the award-winning Shelly’s Podcast and App Store Pundit, an iOS app review show. She lives in Austin, Texas.
