Before working at Brides as a senior editor from 2022 to 2023, Ellie Nan was the Performance Marketing Travel Editor for Dotdash Meredith. In that role, she managed all bookable hotel content across TripSavvy, Brides, and Travel + Leisure. She formerly served as the Associate Digital Editor for Departures, and prior to that spent two years as a freelance travel and lifestyle writer while completing her Master's degree at Dartmouth College. Ellie Nan began her career in digital publishing in 2015 at Travel + Leisure, where she served as the Digital Editorial Assistant. Her very first editorial role was an internship during her senior year of high school managing real weddings for What's Up Annapolis magazine in her hometown of Annapolis, Maryland.

Ellie Nan received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Connecticut College in 2015. She completed a Master's in Creative Writing at Dartmouth College in 2020.
