Demi Lovato is officially off the market and has a breathtaking engagement ring to prove it. On December 16, 2023, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes popped the question during a “personal and intimate” proposal in Los Angeles, according to People. The “Confident” singer (who uses she/they pronouns) confirmed the exciting news on their personal Instagram page. “I’m still speechless 🥹🥹,” Lovato expressed. “Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic..My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby 🥰.”

In addition to their heartfelt caption, the pop star shared an inside look at the proposal by uploading a photo of herself and their new fiancé, taken by Angelo Kritikos, dressed in all black and beaming at one another while standing on a floor covered in red rose petals and candles. The highlight of her post? A close-up shot of their pear-shaped solitaire diamond engagement ring on a yellow gold band. Lutes proposed with a bespoke piece, created in collaboration with New York City-based fine jewelry boutique Material Good, particularly with the company’s Director of Market and Fine Jewelry Teresa Panico, People reported.
