Emily Helmke is a leader in Booz Allen’s global commercial business serving the software and high-tech market. She manages the firm’s relationships with Fortune 50 companies and works directly with C-level executives to help them transform their cybersecurity programs and communicate the impact of these changes to key stakeholders, including boards of directors. Prior to her current role, Emily spent several years in Booz Allen’s federal business and led various IT workforce development and security initiatives for clients in the civil sector.
Passionate about women’s leadership and development, Emily established the Booz Allen New York Office Women’s Forum, which she now co-leads, and the Commercial Women’s Mentoring Circle. She is also an active alumnus of Women in America, an external professional development program focused on enabling women to advance to C-suite positions through mentorship, networking, and education.
Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in commerce with a minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia and her master’s degree in marketing and strategic communications from Columbia University. She holds a CompTIA Security+ certification and sits on the advisory board for the Information Technology-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC).
