Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately we found the bed very hard but this was likely a personal preference.
The staff were absolutely amazing they helped with everything we needed. Because we do not speak Korean they would call places for us and make bookings etc. We also had an issue with transport for when we were leaving the hotel and Jinny at the front desk cancelled our existing transport and organized a new one for us it was fantastic. The location was fantastic and very central to the local night market and activities. Also the free mini bar was fantastic!

i cannot say enough great things about our stay. The location is perfect ,our room very nice with a fridge ,safe and comfy bed,and breakfast was amazing. What i realy have to mention is the staff how helpful and pleasant they were' I am going to highlight one under the name AMANDA was simply outstanding so helpful pleasant.I hope her bosses realize what a great representative for the hotel. Would highly recoment this boutique hotel.

Room size is ok, weird configuration but we managed to make it work for 2 big luggage and 2 cabin luggage. Wish there was another mirror and white lighting at the study table for my make up. Inconvenient to do make up over the basin.
Location was great! Love the wonderful bathtub and the dyson hair dryer. Bed and pillows were perfect too... slept like a baby. Really really grateful for the early check in. We were so tired after our journey, the early check in helped us alot to settle down. Restaurant was under construction. Sad that we did not get to try breakfast.

The hotel staff were amazing. You feel safe in the hotel and the surrounding area. The room was clean, spacious and luxurious. The bathroom was exceptional. I would stay here again and recommend the accommodation to friends and family. The area surrounding the hotel offers a great range of restaurant and shopping options.

Nothing I didn't like.
The location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They assisted with our early arrival and were incredibly friendly. Most importantly, the room was spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

employees’ service is excellent. It reflects the high quality of management. it’s brilliant. i’m really impressed by the clean of bathroom window, and appreciated by the generosity when you provided/ refilled the bar food. This is also the main reason I write down this comment. Here are two “Nice to have” advices I could give. 1. Make a cozy music with your hotel intro on TV, this will instantly upgrade the Luxury feeling of Hotel28, it’s easy to prove it when refer to all the top hotel. Also, this it costs less to complete. Furthermore, it’s might be the most used TV channel traveler used ,because the most channels on TV are boring to foreigner, especially they are not familiar with korean language. 2. Provide toothpaste. I understand the government has some policy against one time used. I agree with it as well, because the toothbrush most hotel provided is suck, so I brought my toothbrush myself. BUT, who brings toothpaste with them when traveling? AND, there is no wasted issue with the provided toothpaste. All the provided toothpaste are fully used, right?

everything was great
Fabulous location, the suite was very comfortable. The free mini bar was appreciated. since the restaurant was under construction, they gave boxed breakfast. The portion was huge and tasty. The movie museum about the owner and his story was quite interesting.

The water from the sink is so cloudy, we had to use bottled water to brush our teeth and faces.
The location is truly superb, just a few mins walk to the subway, just right below our hotel there are so much eateries my husband and I were spoilt for choice. It is also short walking distance to the busy Myeongdong night market which we kept going back to have the street food. And most importantly the staff at the hotel has been so hospitable and helpful with all our issues, 10/10 recommended!
