Spændende, livlig by
Eftersom jeg var på forretningsrejse, blev det kun til korte rundture i bil. Fra mit hotel kunne jeg gå en tur i mit kvarter i dagtimerne. Masser af liv i gaderne og folk er venlige. Jeg kan anbefale frokost på Hotel Mexico City, på terrassen, hvor der er en skøn udsigt over det indre centrum. Udmærket mad. Lidt dyrere end andre steder, men ikke alt for dyrt.

You have to see the Zocalo square in midtown Mexico city...
You have to see the Zocalo square in midtown Mexico city & the sinking church...in the Square there are several restaurants. one of the restaurants is on the top of Building , you walk through a bookshop & take the elevator up, where the view is fantastic. The metro in FD, as the locals calls Mexico City, is good, it's more silent than any other metro in the World that I know. A "must see" is Frida Kahlo's museum. Take the Metro to Coyocan metro station, there you take a red bus ASK the busdrivers they are use to tourists! IF you're by car take the Avenida Churubusco to Centenario & then calle Londres. Close to frida Kahlo is Casa de Leon Trotski Museo! Mexico city is HUGE therefore its important that you know from start that there are a heavy traffic.

Excellent hotel when you need to have a night rest before or after long intercontinental flights. Breakfast in restaurant is super delicious with wide variety of choices. Stuff is super helpful and location is great - attached to Terminal 1 with the tunnel.

The location is great - in a safe area (we felt very safe in Mexico city, although all the info saying the contrary). The hotel has some age but is well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed linen was really high quality Egyptian cotton.

I travel for work a lot and stay in many hotels. This one was one of my favorites. It had tea, coffee and cookies to welcome guests in the lobby. Staff was super nice and helpful. The response time for additional towels was super fast for Mexico where everything typically takes time. The room was clean-I am very picky. The gym was great!

Awesome! A bit far about 30 mins. from the Zocalo of CDMX but super cool. They have jacuzzi suites available too and the restaurant is super affordable. I love working out and getting a jog in at the park next door. Walmart is within walking distance too!
