Beautifully situated by the Geiranger Fjord, Grande Fjord Hotel offers rooms with cable TV and private bathrooms. Most rooms have private balconies with stunning fjord views. The breakfast was very good, but especially for dinner at night, the restaurant was great with its delicious menu and experienced and friendly staff.

Pawel is what AirBnB would call a super host. We found everything we needed, there was even lemonade for us in the fridge. Street parking was no problem. Laundry facilities were also highly appreciated. The proximity to the Aksla viewpoint was a plus, so we started watching the sunset from Aksla, then walked to the apartment for dinner and returned for the final hour of the incredible sunset over picturesque Ålesund. Two thumbs up!

This was one of the best places we stayed in on our Scandinavia trip. The cottage has a beautiful view and everything has been thought of in terms of amenities and decorations to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The price is very reasonable too for Norwegian standards.

Extremely spacious and very well furnished apartment (huge TV, refrigerator and so many others to list). It was very clean too. The view from the balcony was also nice. Bathroom was spacious and having a washing machine and dryer was also a nice plus. Wished we stayed for longer.

The furniture was very modern and stylish - one felt super welcome and comfortable. We also met our hosts, lovely people and very helpful. They have a fury cat who visited us every day when we went outside. All in all it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Heated floors. Laundry machine access. Full kitchen and fridge. Kitchen included cooking oil, salt, pepper, glasses, utensils. Bathroom was decent and clean. Beds were adjustable and very comfy. Views were amazing.
