Biltmore Estate
Vanderbilt’s French Renaissance-style estate contains 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces – so you can expect a long and fascinating tour. Biltmore is considered America’s largest private home, and the wealth of detail in each ornate room is truly astounding. The surrounding 8,000 acres of gardens were designed by the same architect responsible for Central Park, and make for a lovely walk.

Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor .
Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor . Even though I have not done so myself ( Yet), I believe that an Annual Pass is probably worth the extra price, especially if one is within a few hours driving distance of Asheville. I would imagine the seasonal blooms would make each trip different. Be prepared for crowds though, especially in this era of social distancing. Dont think there is ever an off season there !

Biltmore estate is outrageously priced.
Biltmore estate is outrageously priced. Lodging is sky high. If you're going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds. We've been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They wanted to charge us $50.00 per person just to have access to the grounds.

There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate. Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn't enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it.

This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive.
This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice. It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience.

My car broke down and I stayed here because it was walking distance to the mechanic shop. This hotel was extremely comfortable and provided much comfort and relaxation for me while I waited over the weekend to get my car fixed. The staff was helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was excellent. I was able to walk to the Biltmore estate and other nice areas.
Quite hotel with all the amenities anyone would need.. Very close to the entrance of Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village. Breakfast was delicious every morning and staff is friendly. We enjoyed the sitting in the courtyard after our daily excursions.
The Hotel was a 10 minute drive from The Biltmore Estate and also downtown Asheville, which was perfect for us. The staff were friendly, the room, bathrooms, and lobby were spotless, the bed very comfy, and my husband loved the breakfast room and 24 hour coffee!
The property is gorgeous! Our room was incredible. The staff very cordial. Our every need was taken care of daily. When we needed our car, the valet had it in front of the hotel in minutes. The close proximity to restaurants, shops, etc., is right out our door. And, a short 10 minute drive to the Biltmore Estate. And, if I haven’t said it enough..our room was spectacular!
location location location. I was visiting Biltmore estate, and this hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from the entrance gate.
The bed was comfortable.
Clean, convenient, wonderful staff! The breakfast was great! The lady in charge of setting up the breakfast always made sure everything was stocked and the areas kept clean. Will certainly stay again and tell my friends with dogs. If you're visiting the Biltmore Estate, this is the perfect hotel for you, your family and your pup!
Grandkids loved the pool. We liked the breakfast buffet and room was comfortable. Also location was good for our trip to the Biltmore Estate and good restaurants near hotel.
I enjoyed my stay here while visiting downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. Check in and out went well thanks to Nina. The buffet was delicious as well as the restaurant with a bar. In addition, I felt very safe during my stay here. I do recommend if you’re in Asheville to stay at this hotel.
I liked how clean the room was. The beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel. The staff was very kind too. I would definitely stay here again and it's very close to the Biltmore Estate.
Renovated motel rooms with nice, very comfortable vibe; great pet walking area; good breakfast; super friendly and helpful staff; scenic location; 5 mins to downtown / Biltmore Estate & Village by car. Incredible value (we stayed in mid February off-season). Totally surpassed our expectations - way better than most chain hotels/motels!
