Artur even gave me a quick little tour of the city center, market, and took me to the bus station. You can walk from the hostel to a park and beautiful beach Praia de Albarquel.

Staff was never seen, which can be a bonus or a deficit depending on your perspective. We lacked for nothing however, so lack of staff was not a problem. Although named as a hostel, it is really more like an Airbnb except with shared bathroom. Rooms are large impeccably maintained.

Wonderful location just a few steps from the beach, well-equipped kitchen, delightful atmosphere, I felt like a guest at the best friends' place. Highly recommend.
