You can walk from the hostel to a park and beautiful beach Praia de Albarquel.

Staff was never seen, which can be a bonus or a deficit depending on your perspective. We lacked for nothing however, so lack of staff was not a problem. Although named as a hostel, it is really more like an Airbnb except with shared bathroom. Rooms are large impeccably maintained.
