This converted Victorian prison is now a stunning boutique hotel offering unique luxury accommodation in historic Oxford. Limited private parking is available for a surcharge. We loved the hotel being an old prison and sleeping in an old cell. We were here for 2 nights. Parking space is expensive but as the hotel is in the center of the city we were happy to pay for it. All hotel staff were so friendly (reception, parking, brasserie). We stayed in a cell room and were really worried about all the bad reviews about it being so hot in the room, but in our room this wasn't the case, it felt like there was some kind of air conditioning and it was cool, so we were very happy about that. Room was big and there were free bottles of water, Coffee, thee and some biscuits.
