Pod 39 is meant to be an high-value, economical place to stay with great access. It accomplishes this very well. Great neighborhood, easily accessible from Grand Central, and next to my all-time fave NYC restaurant KJun. Rooms are small but efficient. If you need refrigerators, a large sink, etc (I have a family member with medical needs that necessitate this) it wouldn't be the right place to stay but for the average weekender, it's a great option. The public areas are funky and cute.

A great city to visit; I enjoyed it thoroughly specially because it was my first time. The Pre Christmas week was great to be in New York. I had a great time, walking around the city, especially in the Manhattan and times Square area. It was nice to visit The 9/11 memorial, the World Trade Center, the Empire State building, and a few nice restaurants with diverse nice food. The Hudson River cruise was also great to you the skyline, the skyscraper and the Statue of Liberty. Definitely recommended.

City is amazing and despite being numerous times before it never gets old. Be smart, keep yourself safe and avoid staring at people who are acting a bit odd. It was near thanksgiving and extremely busy. Take layers and be prepared for the cold - the wind is brutal so don't be fooled by blue skies! Look for deals on the tourist spots such as C3 etc. Don't be afraid of subway it's great but again be smart. if you feel uncomfortable remove yourself and don't go into an empty subway cart.
We did a pedicab with Prince at HybridNYC loved it! He was amazing. highly recommend.
We also did the C3 pass and got went to Empire State, Top of the Rock and a circle line cruise. Cruise was great but don't waste time going all around the island - after the bridges it's not worth it and super long. upgrade to the 3 bridges one though- well worth it. On top of the rock we paid extra to do the skylift at sunset - unreal views but at $35 for 3.5mins you need to consider whether it's worth it for you. It was my mums bday so we did it. loved it!

NYC is a diverse city that has so much history, vantage points, modes of transportation, and cultural interests. It is a great place to visit with children and the mature crowd. Once you learn how to navigate the city via foot or public transportation, you will see how much is within less than a half mile radius from you. Use Google Maps to get around via any method and ride the Roosevelt Island Tram. Enjoy!

Not my first time in NY, the place has its own vibe, the Christmas decorations and sights were nice as usual.
But the city was dirtier than I remember and the smell of weed everywhere, lots of homeless people a bit crowded considering it was near Christmas time. Weather was so cold and windy!

New York is a vibrant city.
New York is a vibrant city. Filled with all types of cuisine and neighborhoods. It is one of the best cities to walk since you never know what interesting thing you will see. If you like architecture the buildings like the Empire State building and Rockefeller Center have beautiful art deco interiors. The other interior that is a must see is the interior of Grand Central Station.

Absolutely my favourite city.
Absolutely my favourite city. I have been so many times but can always find new things to do and see. Never a disappointing meal or cup of coffee just the cost of things has to be watched. Closer you go to tourist areas (Central Park, Times Square, etc.) everything is much more expensive. An absolute must-see and highlight is Little Italy; food is amazing and the merchandise there is much cheaper.

The location is fantastic in Midtown Manhattan. Just a short walk to Bryant Park, Grand Central Station, Times Square, etc. Shops, restaurants and subway stations are just a few minutes walk. The area is very safe. The room was clean and spacious (I traveled with my spouse and two teen kids - 15 and 13 years old). The breakfast was great. We also went on two free walking tours offered by the Iroquois hotel and those were very informative and well delivered.
The location was prime. We were boarding a cruise ship and arrived the day before. The hotel was the best value I found so close to Times Square and the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. All hotels in this area are ridiculously priced, but we were pleased that it was clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. We will be back in November and will stay again.
Perfect location, a few min walk to 50st subway and to Times Square/ Central Park .
The hotel has a rooftop lounge with amazing view to Manhattan.
Room was very clean and the team with high sense of service.
Hope to visit again .
The hotel boasts perhaps the best rooftop bar in Midtown Manhattan. You a close enough to have a clear view of Times Square, but at a distance which provides some peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of the area.
The hotel has an excellent location if visiting NYC as you’re really close to most landmarks on Manhattan and especially Times Square, Central Park and MOMA. You can’t go wrong with staying in this hotel.
