Four of us stayed in a Double room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. All four of us had a good night 's sleep. Breakfast was very good and there was a big variety. Orange juice was 100% juice, scrambled eggs were fluffy and bacon was nice and crispy. I appreciated the gentleman tending the breakfast buffet who was very friendly and polite, asking us if everything was to our liking.

Older but well maintained hotel. Conveniently located right off the interatate and next to a hospital. It was quiet and comfortable. The pet fee was reasonable, and I appreciated the rules made to ensure my pets stayed safe and happy. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly! The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I enjoyed the bed. The native art was very cool to see, and I like the open middle design of the lobby. The elevator was one of the smoothest rides I've had in an elevator despite its age. And there was a Starbucks right next door, bonus points! Really appreciate the security guard monitoring the parking lot! I was walking my dog when a suspicious character was hanging around and felt so much safer with the guard around.

We have visited Albuquerque many times over the past 25 years as we pass through 4 times a year stopping to refuel, shop, eat, spend the night. There are many motels/hotels to chose from and I would recommend not staying close to the highways as they are very busy all night.

I liked the beautiful sunsets and authentic New Mexican cuisine. The beautiful scene of the Sandia mountains give this city a natural beauty. What I didn't like was the dangerously cold weather in the winter.

Grocery stores are run down....
Grocery stores are run down.... Speeding and passing red lights... Homeless people are coming up and asking for money in parking lots, they follow you. And we witnessed an older couple that had their older F-350 and new attached camper stolen from a hotel parking lot by airport. Put kill switch's or gps on your vehicle, especially if you are hauling an rv or u-haul. They did this around midnight. Lazy a.....!

We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
Our favorite place to eat was Seasons 52, very enjoyable atmosphere and excellent food. We visited the Pueblo Cultural Center which was interesting and informative. If we would have had more time we would have explored oldtown Albuquerque in more depth. Also bring plenty of pocket money. There are so many interesting craft boutiques - very tempting.

We were on a Road Scholar trip for the Balloon Festival and it was worth it. Even went to Santa Fe for a day. Remember if go that you will be rising early-3-4am in order to be at festival in time to see the balloons being setup and then lift in mass. The IPCC is worth a visit to learn more about Indian history and culture.

We were in Albuquerque for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! If you can make it during this time of the year, it is so worth it. The weather was perfect for day trips to the Sandia Crest and north to Madrid for a nice twist. Les Combes Winery was a wonderful find while we were there as well. We spent an afternoon as the Botanical Gardens too. Definitely a nice surprise.
