Room: Clean. Very nice shower. Very hot 23 degrees, could not set the temperature. Impossible to foold the window and door. We also accommodated the cat for 100 lei per night.
Breakfast: varied, good, hearty breakfast. espresso and long coffee, no cappuccino or latte. no natural juices.
Dinner: good dinner. very good appetizers, especially cheeses and celery salad. Vegetable soup, pork or beef soup we served. The meats were very tasty, the side dishes good and the pickles extraordinary. The cakes were bad, with a lot of artificial cream and colorings, except for the homemade meatballs with cheese which were special.
Spa: Great thermal water, but a little dirty (epithelial cells and hair). Very good dry sauna. They had ice and cold water for those who wanted it. The jets for the neck and back rarely turned on. There were very nice sitting bubbles. The wet sauna was cold, you couldn't stand in it and sweat. I only used the dry sauna. The tiles in the basement -2 were a little slippery. I slipped. Overall, there were fewer attractions than I would have thought for the money.
Massage: massage: pleasant and with lots of health information
Parking: There was a problem with the parking: there were no free spaces and everything was very complicated to get to a larger parking lot. It is not concreted, just broken stone.
There is a barrier at the entrance and exit. If you do not give the ticket you received at the entrance when you pay, you have to call a number written on the barrier to be able to leave, even if you have paid.
At the reception when you enter nicely if you have parked and pay, they do not ask you about the entrance ticket for validation in case you forget to validate it.
Personal: very kind.

Sovata is simply amazing, very clean and nice mountain resort where you can enjoy nice walks in te forest around the lake and you can swim in Ursu lake as well. The salty water is good for the bones and joints. I was eating in few places but the best was restaurant Club Dracula. lovely location close to the lake with a spectacular view. I absolutely loved the food, the ambiance, the location and the service. the food was incredibly tasty and fresh. The restaurant waiters were very friendly and not pushy at all. I would definitely recommend Sovata for foreigners as they have to see the beauty of Romania and they need to try the Romanian food like sarmale, mamaliga, mici, papanasi, steak, pastrav and the famous soups. I alsotried goulash and it was delicious.

We never expected the resort to be this nice, the whole town is renovated and there are many activities to fill up you're time. Just to name a few: Mocanita Sovata - a 2h ride on a steam train, the Praid salt mine that you can visit and there are a lot of trails around the forest, one that even has a Bell Vedere tower built .

The receptionist is super friendly, she provided all info we need and we might need. The area of the hotel is large, it consisted of two buildings. The room that we got was really nice and spacious. If I remember right it was 213, not so sure. It has a huge balcony with comfortable beach chairs that my daughter and I love so much.
Food was also great, fresh tiger shrimp with acceptable price. Most of the above, the staffs are so awesome, they made us feel so welcomed and they always smiled.
Nice hotel with really kind staff, the location is perfect, it is only a few minutes walk to the lake.
We could leave the car in the parking area before the check-in which made our day easy.
The breakfast was good.
Very kind staff, nice swimming pool proper for kids to have fun! It is a very good hotel for families. We were lucky with the nice weather, so we could also enjoy the swimming pool outside.
All good but Spa very slow jacuzzi you have to wait an hour after it stops after 15 min to restart and is small for the size of the hotel. The rest Sauna Etc fantastic.
