Very professional and kind staff at the reception on 25.12.2024. Spacious room. The welcome drink: a beer or a Jamaica water is a nice accent.
A safe private parking nearby. Mosquito nets in the balcony door were super useful.

The location if you travel by bus or coach was brilliant being opposite the ADO/Collectivo terminal. $25 each way for a Collectivo to the Palenque ruins.
Pool was good and a welcome cool off after a hot humid day at the ruins.
The room was a good size and the beds comfortable.

Location was great, in it's own private jungle with plant lined lit up paths leading to the restaurant, pool and cabanas. It was walking distance to the archeological site which is why we choose it.

Palenque has many different sites to visit, including the MisolHa waterfall, was Amazing! Agua Azul spectacular! Weather wise is unpredictable so need to make sure to take un umbrella when going to any outings unless you don’t mind getting wet! Had a great time at the Maya ruins beautiful site took a guided tour and only costs us $250 pesos (Spanish) if you only speak English is more expensive! Plenty of restaurants to choose from delicious gourmet food
We were lucky to get on the Maya train just for the experience and went to the next stop at Boca del Cerro and took a river tour and Guatemala border was just one hour away!! We went across just for about 3 hours bought some souvenirs had lunch and came back
Villahermosa Tabasco is just 2 and a half hours by bus highly recommend to visit

Enjoyed visiting the ruins at Palenque, well worth seeing as they were in more of a tropical setting than some of the ruins we visited around Mexico City and it is still permitted to climb up to the top of some of the ruins. While visiting the ruins it was also possible to take a short jungle walk back down to the entrance. The town of Palenque itself was quite pretty with plenty of places to eat and the people were very friendly and helpful. We also took a trip out to Misal Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls which were interesting and fun as it is possible to swim in these areas.

I didn’t spend much time in the town, I was there for the ruins. Definitely take the tour though the jungle to see the ruins that are still covered with trees. Climb through the ancient Mayan Aqua duct, see the monkeys and try eating some termites. The whole experience in the jungle adds immensely to the site.
My guide was Victor, he speaks Spanish and English, very knowledgeable, well worth the money.

We stayed one night in town to visit the ruins
- had a good coffee
- nice evening walk in the town
- farmacies availeble
The ruins of Palenque was beautifull, due to construction/care-taking we could nog visist al the temples. I was sick at the time, but there were enough toilets on inside and outside the domain.
There is a second part more into the jungle where you can see more wild animals but my body was not up for that. As far as we could understand it does take a tour to do this second part.

You can spend weeks in that region easily, because there are too many beautiful things to visit and do. Waterfalls, Maya ruins, hours and hours of hiking in the jungle is all possible and must do. Palenque and Chiapas state offers lifetime adventures. Can rental is essential as the public transport is not really safe for tourists.

The room and pool were great. Easy access to the Palenque Archaeological site with colectivo.
We booked a tour to Yaxchilan and Bonampak which was really good, the driver didn't address the English passengers much so we were a little confused sometimes as to what was happening, but all in all a good day. ( long day but amazing site)
The toilets are cleaned regularly and staff were friendly.
The feeling of being in the jungle and all the jungle noises was amazing.
We only booked this hotel to dump our bags and have a shower while we visited the ruins during the day. For that, it served it's purpose. It's a great location near to the bus station and cafes if you're looking to get in and out of Palenque. Staff are nice and helpful.
Best water pressure we've had in Mexico. Staff were lovely and accommodating - even gave us an early breakfast the day we were leaving. The breakfast was generous and filling. Bed was comfy. Really nice furniture and features. Felt more like a hotel than a bnb
Situated in a pretty, leafy area with several hotels and restaurants. Close to the highway and shuttles to the archaeological zone of Palenque. The area is a bit above midrange but very cosy with lots of references to the maya history
Location.Location.Location. Beautiful jungle hotel. Fantastic pool. Flowers, jungle noices. Hotel gave us a new room when we asked more sunny and bright room :)
